Commissions are worth what artists charge. This is a different trade: speed and volume instead of a particular person's work.
What a credit buys
One credit, one image, one quality level. There is no separate HD tier that quietly costs ten times as much, so the credit count on each plan is the number of images you get.

- What is a credit?
- One credit generates one character image at full quality. There is no separate HD tier costing extra credits, so a plan's credit count is the number of images it covers. Text character cards, names, backstories and prompts do not use credits at all.
- Why a subscription rather than paying per image?
- A subscription gives noticeably more credits per dollar, because predictable revenue lets us price the underlying generation more thinly. If you would rather not subscribe, the one-off packs cover the same thing without a renewal.
- Can I cancel any time?
- Yes. A subscription can be cancelled at any point and stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- What happens to credits I have not used?
- Subscription credits refresh with each billing period. Credits bought as a one-off pack do not expire.
- Do I own what I generate?
- Yes. Characters you create are yours to use, including commercially. OCMakerLab is an independent tool and is not affiliated with any franchise referenced on the site.
